Car Parking
Please note our offsite car parking area is located within 5 minutes walking distance of Poets House. We will be happy to assist with unloading your luggage before you park your vehicle. Access to the barrier together with clear directions will be available for collection at reception. We also offer a valet parking service at a charge of only £15.
There are a number of free to use public car parks only a few moments walk from the hotel. Parking restrictions do apply, although all parking is free without restrictions on Sundays.

Monday - Saturday 08.00am - 18.00pm, 2 hours maximum stay.

Barton Road - Closest Long Stay Car Park (5 minutes walk)

Nestling in the dramatic Fenland countryside, Ely is perfect for a short break. 
Ely Cathedral is on our doorstep whilst you are also within easy walking distance of the Stained Glass Museum, Oliver Cromwell’s House and Ely Museum. 
The Eel trail is an excellent way of seeing this historic city at its best - this circular walk self-guided by brass waymarkers set in the ground, takes you past the oldest parts of Ely with its beautiful monastic buildings, stunning architecture and spectacular views. 
With many gift shops, craft shops, antique shops, art galleries and markets there are plenty of browsing and shopping opportunities, whilst Cambridge and Newmarket are a just a short drive away. 
Train services from London to Ely station take just one hour.
